Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Post Natal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition
Do you feel confident teaching pregnant clients?
How do you feel about teaching a new mother?
If you’ve been in or around the health and fitness industry for any amount of time, you will know that there are not nearly enough qualified and competent teachers who can offer classes specifically for pre and post-natal clients.
We hear of too many teachers that are nervous of teaching pregnant women . Understandably they want to be sure they can’t harm either their client or her baby.
This is a particularly rewarding group of people to work with and of course …after they have had their baby you can integrate them into your regular classes.
If your are a Personal Trainer you can work with your client on a 1:1 basis to help her get back to fitness and perhaps re-join her favourite pre-pregnancy class.
Who is this course for?
Technically all qualified instructors should be able to look after one or two pregnant clients within a group class.
The difference in obtaining this qualification means you are then entitled to set up specific classes for Pre or Post Natal clients and your Insurance policy will cover you when working with this specialist group.
