Who is this course for?

This qualification was created specifically with carers and volunteers in mind and is aimed at enhancing the lives of the frail and elderly in retirement/ care homes through seated physical activity.

It also is a perfect addition to the skillset of the Exercise to Music Instructor as it is a very rewarding way of working without the same amount of personal physical activity required for a regular group exercise class.

We are delighted to announce that we can also offer the Active IQ Level 3 Award in Designing Programmes for Disabled Clients. This qualification has a pre-requisite of a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness which can be Gym Based or Group Exercise. Our plan is appeal to existing teachers to teach clients with a disability including active wheel chair users.
